Fire Extinguishing Systems – Dry Chemical

A variety of Fire Extinguishing Systems employ Dry Chemicals to extinguish a fire. The properties of the agents are engineered to disrupt the chemical reaction of combustion or remove heat and oxygen. The types of dry chemicals used are determined by the type of fire or the fuel involved. Dry chemicals can be found in fixed suppression systems or portable fire extinguishers.
