Introduction to Fire Suppression teaches the student useful information about matching the correct fire suppression to each unique fire scenario. The course will begin with the history of fire suppression. The learner will understand why it is important  know the relationship between early detection and effective fire suppression. The fire professional will have an understanding of the anatomy of fire and its classifications, as they relate to fire extinguishment.
