Understanding and Applying Security Concepts provides a basic understanding of concepts that form the foundation of effective and compliant security system designs. Learners will attain an understanding of who the stakeholders are and why their expectations must be met in order for a project to be successful (and the consequences of not meeting them). An overview of the security systems available and their real world application will be covered in the module along with a view of the pre-design process that includes: how to identify and quantify the risks these systems must address. The course is intended for those involved in the sales process and related administrative activities.
