This course, Overview of NFPA 70E: Standards for Electrical Safety in the Workplace provides an overview of the standards and articles covered in the 2012 NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. The course details general requirements for electrical safety-related work practices, including employee training requirements, proper use of personal and other protective equipment, and establishing electrically safe work conditions. Students will learn maintenance requirements for equipment and how to ensure a safe area when working where electrical hazards are present. Participants’ knowledge is gauged throughout the module with interactive quizzes and a final ten-question exam.
