At the conclusion of this course, the learner will:

  1. Learn the history and evolution of NFPA codes and standards.
  2. Acquire a knowledge of the various NFPA codes that are applicable to fire suppression systems.
  3. Understand how the fire suppression agent to be used, or special hazard to be protected, can affect which NFPA code to follow.
