System Initiating Devices teaches the student about the different types of automatic detection and initiating devices that are available and which would be most appropriate depending on circumstances, as well as details about their utility as initiating devices in a full fire alarm system. It will help establish the general needs and requirements of the client and the necessary knowledge needed to determine which type of initiating device would be most effective. As a result, the student will be able to determine the best solution for the application.
