What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy: We will issue a 100% refund, less a 3.5% processing fee, for up to 90 days from the date of purchase, unless you have started a course. Once you begin a course, no refunds will be given. For up to one calendar year from the date of purchase, courses may be exchanged for courses of equal value or moved to another employee. Please contact Elite CEU at 866-556-5512 regarding refunds.
Can we be invoiced?
Definitely, we also accept Purchase Orders. Please contact one of our representatives to set up an account.
How do I pay?
You can purchase your course credits through our secure online shopping or contacting one of our representatives for invoicing.
Is it safe to use my credit card over the internet?

What methods of payment do we accept?
We gladly accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and occasionally, electronic or traditional checks.
Can I access the courses anywhere?
Yes, as long as you have access to the Internet, you can take online courses anywhere, anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
However, courses are only available for 90 days after the date of purchase. Once a course is completed and inactive, it cannot be reactivated for study purposes.
How do your online courses work?
After you register for an account, or log into your newly created account, select your courses via our Course Catalog. Once you select and purchase your course(s) they will automatically be assigned to your account and you can start viewing the course in your Assigned Courses. Simply click on the course you wish to start, and the course will launch.
The courses are a mixture of video, lecture, text and interactions. Some courses contain knowledge checks or mini quizzes that will check your retention of the course material! There is a final exam at the end of each course, in which you need to pass successfully (70% or better) to gain credit for completing the course. After you successfully pass the final exam your account will be updated with the course status being marked as 'complete.'

How long will it take me to finish a course?
Each course is designed to be self-paced. So, you can go as fast or as slow as you want (video courses excluded).
Once purchased, courses and certifications are active for 90 days. Courses and certifications can be reviewed as often as you like during that 90 days. After 90 days, courses will go inactive. We are able to reactivate courses that have not been completed, however you will need to contact our office during business hours for us to reactivate the uncompleted courses. Coursework can only be reactivated for up to a year from the date of purchase. Please remember, once a course or certification is completed and inactive, we are not able to reactivate the course.
What are the minimum system requirements?
In order to view the courses in the most optimum conditions you will need your computer to have at least the following: Internet Explorer version 6.0 or newer, or Mozilla Firefox (latest version); 500 Mhz Processor; 128 MB of RAM Memory; 56K Modem or better; Speakers and Sound Card; Flash Plug-In 6.0 or better; Windows Media 10.0 or better (optional for video courses); At least 800 x 600 screen resolution; Cookies must be enabled
What happens if I lose internet connection or have to log off?
When you log back into your account on the ELITE CEU website, you can click on the course you were working on to start where you left off (video courses excluded.).
What if I forget my login and password information?
If you have forgotten your login information please click the “Forgot Password?” link. Enter your username or email address you registered with our site. A link to update your password will be emailed directly to you. If multiple users all share the same email, use your registered username to receive the correct link.
Is there anything that would prevent me from obtaining or renewing my Texas Private Security License?
Per the Texas Private Security Board, as of the 85th Legislative Session, which amends Chapter 53, all students obtaining or renewing a license should be aware of changes and updates to the Administrative Rules.
Please be advised under the Private Security Act (Occ. Code Chapter 1702) and Administrative Rule 35.4 (37 Tex. Admin. Code 1), a criminal conviction may disqualify you from a registration, commission or license under the Act. You may wish to review Rule 35.4's list of disqualifying offenses and the related periods of ineligibility, available on the department's website at http://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/psb/index.htm (click on the link to Administrative Code). You also have a right to request from the department a criminal history evaluation letter under Occupations Code Section 53.102.
How do I receive my certificate of completion?
Each course must be viewed in its entirety before obtaining credit. NOTE: Some States require passing a quiz with a 70% or better. Once you obtain a passing score, and have completed all of your assigned coursework, we will process your certificate.
How long does it take before I receive my certificates?
Once your courses are complete we will email you a copy and one to your State governing agency (if applicable). Certificates are normally emailed within two business days after your final course is completed.
Will your courses qualify for my license renewal?
Make sure the course you purchase is approved for your license in the State needed. Each course description will tell you which State it is approved in, but not what license it is specifically approved for. You can also view our Interactive Map to view the courses that can be applied to each license by State approval by clicking here.
Can I use my certification for CEU credits?
No. Elite CEU provides both Certifications and CEU's (Continuing Education Units). Certifications and CEU's are not interchangeable.
Can I use my nickname in my registration?
No. Please use your legal name or the name on your Security License in your registration.
How do I know what courses I need to take to renew my license for my state?
Our Interactive Map has a link to each States licensing Board/Committee and a list of approved courses for each State. Remember, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you are meeting your licensing needs. If you are unsure about taking a class, please do not purchase the course or certification until you have verified with your State that it is approved and/or necessary.
How do I obtain a copy of my certificate of completion?
Depending on your State and its requirements, Certificates are normally written and emailed to the email in your registration within two business days after your final course is completed. However, each State has different requirements for Course Completion submittals. Elite CEU is required to follow the requirements of each State. If you have any questions in regards to your course completion submittals, you can either contact the Elite CEU office during business hours or your States licensing office.

Each course or certification can be applied to any applicable State. Please note on your registration which States or Governing Boards will need Certificates as they are State specific. Please contact one of our representatives if you need additional Certificates.
